Physitrack to provide remote physio at Guy’s and St Thomas’

Guy’s and St Thomas’ Trust (GSTT) in London has selected Physitrack to deliver remote physiotherapy services, including home exercise prescription, patient education, and outcomes analysis.
Physitrack’s offering makes it possible for GSTT clinical staff to provide pre-and post-op – as well as post-acute – advice and exercises to patients using its app. There is also the option to introduce video consultations across GSTT’s orthopaedic and physiotherapy services.
Exercise programs and education can be tailored for individual patient needs and delivered at a desired frequency, whether it’s daily, weekly, or even hourly for education and outcome measures.
Henrik Molin, CEO and co-founder of Physitrack said: “Guy’s and St Thomas’ excellent physiotherapy team can now ensure care continuity for thousands of patients while they are subject to COVID-19 lockdowns or quarantines, and once lockdowns are over, a digital extension of hands-on care.”
Physitrack was founded in 2012 by Henrik Molin, CEO, and Nathan Skwortsow, CTO. After raising $3.5 million in 2014 and 2015, the company was part of the first cohort of the DigitalHealth.London Accelerator programme in 2016-17. It has not raised any further funding and is cashflow positive.
