The company is active in France and Germany, and assists healthcare service providers to increase organisational efficiency, and to improve patient experience. It handles 30 million patient appointments for 75,000 physicians every month through its web and mobile portals.
The funds will be used to continue investing in the digital transformation of healthcare services using its IT systems. They will also accelerate deployment of its telehealth service, which was launched in France in January 2019, and is currently used by several hundred physicians.
Doctolib, which was founded in 2013, intends to double its workforce to 1,500 in France and Germany in the next three years, and envisages expanding into further markets.
