Tyto Care closes $9 million funding for telehealth service

Israeli telehealth startup Tyto Care has raised $9 million from Itochu of Japan, Sanford Health of the US, and Shenzhen Capital Group of China. 

Tyto is a handheld kit and app that enables remote, guided medical exams and diagnosis using a ‘digital stethoscope’. 

The new funding comes a year after the company raised $24.5 million in a round led by Ping An Global Voyager Fund of China, and will be used for expansion in the US, Japan and China.
